Well what a walk. A friend told me it was approx 3km to the Blue Springs......2 hrs later with parents and dogs weakening in the approx 30 degree heat, we arrived. The views of the river on the way were breathtaking. The water was clear blue and looked so inviting. A walker passed us and told us that the river was 11 degrees but felt much colder. The boys were very brave, the dogs weren't but got put in anyway. I managed to put my feet in and it was absolutely freezing. The most shocking discovery happened at the end of the walk....another car park that I could of driven to which would of resulted in a 15 minute walk! Live and learn.

Beautiful - just like Neverland! You all look fantastic despite the walk. Not sure when your folks are going home, but no doubt they have had a wonderful time and you have made the most of it. Much love xxx
