Well what a walk. A friend told me it was approx 3km to the Blue Springs......2 hrs later with parents and dogs weakening in the approx 30 degree heat, we arrived. The views of the river on the way were breathtaking. The water was clear blue and looked so inviting. A walker passed us and told us that the river was 11 degrees but felt much colder. The boys were very brave, the dogs weren't but got put in anyway. I managed to put my feet in and it was absolutely freezing. The most shocking discovery happened at the end of the walk....another car park that I could of driven to which would of resulted in a 15 minute walk! Live and learn.

Hols in the Coromandel
We had a great holiday in the Coromandel. The weather was amazing as was the scenery. The accommodation was fantastic and they allowed us to take the dogs. We usually find that the accommodation that allows animals, is only fit for animals so we were pleased to say the least. We really could of done with longer there but being a student this year and with only one salary coming in.....
