Extras

Fraser's Cross Country

Fraser was selected to run the Inter Schools Cross Country by Lake Karapiro. It was a great day.

The Kids from my School

These are a few of the kids from my school who were also running the cross country.

Dogs at Beach

We had a great day at Mt Maunganui on Sunday. The dogs weren't too sure of the water but seemed to enjoy themselves.

Fraser's School Dance

Fraser may not thank me for posting this but he was part of a dance group for a school Learning Presentation Evening. It was really good, we were most impressed.

Huge Time Wasters

That's what they are. We all spend hours just playing and fussing the pups. Even Paul, although he won't admit to it. I am sure I caught him smooching with them the other day. They are calming down more and more each week. We have a kennel and run on its way too so that they won't have to be shut up in the house in the day. Don't worry all you dog lovers, it will be in a shady spot.

Yet more Bitz and Bobz

Fence Erection

We are so pleased we now have the garden fully fenced. I was getting very tired of waiting for the dogs to do their business. Now they can carry on in privacy without escaping to the neighbours.

NZ National Football Tournament

Paul and Joe spent a week in Tauranga as Joe's school football (I refuse to type soccer)team competed in the National Tournament. After not losing a single game until a fateful penalty shoot out they were awarded 6th place out of the whole of NZ. They stayed on a marae and were very well catered for with as much food as they could eat each day. The sun shone all week and they enjoyed trips to the beach and the hot pools to help their aching muscles followed by icecream parlours and discos. I actually think that they were sad to come home, especially Paul. There was a silver lining to the hand injury after all as it gave Paul the opportunity to join the school for the week. Fraser and I had a lovely week too. The house was very quiet. Now at least we know who the noisy ones are!
