Today we had a lovely day out at Marakopa Beach with Steve, Jan, Kieren and Louisa (The Dolans). On the way down we stopped off at the caves and waterfall which was amazing. The beach was typically uncrowded and the kids had a lovely time jumping the waves in the Tasman Sea. As you can see Fraser got it wrong, so did Joe. Thankfully we had a change of clothes in the car. The sand again was black volcanic which still looks strange to me. Hope you like the photos.

My School Day
A few more photos of the my school. Had to take a photo of the daffodils which are springing up everywhere....in August???
Also in this area they have an Agricultural Day in October. The farm next to my school allow the children to have a calf for 8 weeks to pet and get ready for the show. I took the children to the farm this lunchtime.

Tauranga
Thought I would update the blog for you all. We enjoyed a fantastic day last Sunday at Tauranga looking out at the Pacific Ocean. We can't wait to have a swim in the Summer. As you can see the beaches aren't too crowded. It really is a fantastic place. It reminds me of Greece. We all had a fantastic time, had a picnic on the beach and ended the day with a trip around the corner at the hot pools. They were salt water pools which Fraser forgot about until he dived under the water and took a mouthful. Will try and take pics of hot pools next time. It was too bloomin cold to get out and get the camera.
