Paul and Joe spent a week in Tauranga as Joe's school football (I refuse to type soccer)team competed in the National Tournament. After not losing a single game until a fateful penalty shoot out they were awarded 6th place out of the whole of NZ. They stayed on a marae and were very well catered for with as much food as they could eat each day. The sun shone all week and they enjoyed trips to the beach and the hot pools to help their aching muscles followed by icecream parlours and discos. I actually think that they were sad to come home, especially Paul. There was a silver lining to the hand injury after all as it gave Paul the opportunity to join the school for the week. Fraser and I had a lovely week too. The house was very quiet. Now at least we know who the noisy ones are!
