Hi Folks. Ready for the next instalment?
We had an amazing weekend away. We left Saturday morning for a two hour drive down to Turangi. We had a coffee and a snack and then had a lovely walk by Tongariro River and watched some chaps fishing for Trout. Then we had a game of Crazy Golf and lastly relaxed in Tokaanu Thermal Hot Pools.
On Sunday we got up early as we has lost an hour due to the clocks going forward, had a big grilled breakfast and headed to the mountains and Whakapapa Ski Resort. The first sight of Mt Tongariro took our breath away. The landscape was amazing and reminded us all that we are living in an incredible country. We had a fantastic day sledging and rolling around in the snow. The boys informed me that they would like to go every day! After a good 5 hours play, we headed to Lake Taupo and enjoyed a Subway Sarnie before heading home tired but rejuvenated.

What lovely photos and all looking so well (I guess why wouldn't you?) The snow looks great and mountains outstanding - so can't wait to see them perhaps with you next year. 6 months now guys - that must be a turning point! Miss ya The Dorsettsxxx
